Success: My Theory and Life

In life, from birth we are taught how to be successful.
Our family, our culture and traditions put pressure of success on us.
We strive with our peers, we compete in class, we always try to be the first not the best in all our endeavours. Hmmmmm!

But, have we ever consider the pursuit of success by any means or some means is greed. Life is more than success, and this is what we are never taught. We are showed ways to success, like education, talent etc…

But instead of pursuing success why don’t we pursue excellence and perfection. Success is a selfish pursuit when seen from the “Only Me” perspective.

Don’t live for success, live to touch the lives of people around you. Go to school to impact the world. Living a life of positive impact is what we all should live for. Success is a bonus, not the main thing.

God told Joshua the secret to a life for excellence, He told him to follow the only thing that matters, and that’s what I’m also advising us to follow. No matter our level of knowledge, wisdom, wealth, status we should only hold on to just one thing and with that one thing, our influence we flow from time to eternity.

Joshua 1:8 This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.

I pray we all become humanity greatest hope and solution provider in this century of ours!
